The Buffalo Bills (5-9) will be on the road this week to take on the New England Patriots (9-5). The Patriots have been struggling to get wins the past two games as they lost to the Miami Dolphins and the Pittsburgh Steelers. They will also be without arguably their most talented receiver Josh Gordon as he has been suspended indefinitely by the league. Rob Gronkowski has been hurt and Tom Brady seems to be making some bad decisions on passes.
Their defense on the other hand has been playing rather well in December minus the Dolphins game. They have kept their opponents in the teens and have been limiting passes. With that being said, the Buffalo Bills offense is a wild card especially with Josh Allen under center.
In recent weeks, the Buffalo Bills offense has been clicking with Allen at the helm with undrafted players like Robert Foster and Keith Ford who are playing up to the big league level. Now, Allen only has been completing only half of his passes in games but he has been keeping opposing defenses on their heels with the threat of him running for ten yards for a first down. Defensively, the Bills are the same. Players have been stepping up, making the big plays and just sticking with the game plan. The players are talented enough to keep any team under 20 points. They will have a chance to do that again with a Patriots offense that looks like a shell of a Super Bowl team.
To win this game the Bills will need to play mistake free football. The same goes for the Patriots. The team who makes the least amount of mistakes will win this football game. Both teams will being playing hard on Sunday. One team is playing for pride, the other for a division championship. I will take the team playing for pride any day. Go Bills!
