Sabres Slash Line Blog: Six Philly Goals Stun Sabres At Home

This was not a good game. Jack Eichel scored twice in the first period. That was very nice. And then the Phillies got a goal right after Eichel’s second goal. Not ideal but still, 2-1 going into the first intermission.

Second period, Philadelphia scores again to tie it up midway. Not good but hey, another goal and we are back in this. Third period comes, and Philly scores four goals. Three of them came within a span of three minutes. The final score was 6-2.

The start of December is not ideal for this team. The reverse of fortune since the streak is absolutely tough to fathom. Fans need to just take it on the chin and just sing “thank u, next” by Ariana Grande. The next game is at home against Los Angeles. Hopefully it’s a better game than this one.
