The Buffalo Bills (3-7) face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-7) at New Era Field this Sunday in Orchard Park, NY. The Bills will come back fresh and confident as they destroyed the New York Jets 41-10 in Week Ten before they went into their bye week.
The Bills will have their rookie quarterback Josh Allen under center for hopefully the rest of the season to learn and gain experience. The offense came to life with Matt Barkley calling the plays but in order for Josh Allen to develop properly, he needs to play out the rest of the season.
Allen will have a challenge on Sunday as he will face off against one of the most talented defenses in the NFL in the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jalen Ramsey, A.J. Bouye, Calais Campbell and Myles Jack are just a few of the many defenders he will have to beat in order to move the ball down the field. LeSean McCoy will also find this defense challenging on the run as the Jags are just as good against the run as the Bills are.
This game is a rematch of the 2018 Wild Card game of this past season. The Jaguars were victorious in that game 10-3 in a low scoring affair. I expect the score and play to be the same on Sunday. These teams are very similar in both of their style of offense and defense it may be hard to pick who wins.
I would say the advantage goes to the home team on this one. Buffalo sports are exciting right now, especially with the Buffalo Sabres on a seven game win streak in hockey. Those winning vibes will filter through New Era Field on Sunday. Go Bills!
