The Chicago Bears (4-3), first place in the NFC North are coming to Buffalo this Sunday to face the Buffalo Bills (2-6). The Bills have their backs against the wall. Josh Allen, out. Derek Anderson, concussed. Matt Barkely, not ready yet. So who can lead this 31st ranked offense to victory? Nathan Peterman that is who. People are saying that if you play bad football long enough that you are due for a good one. I would like to believe that, and so I will believe in it hard this Sunday.
And if all else fails, there is always next week, and the week after that, and the week after that. Because at this point, why not go with Peterman. It’s not like the offense is improving, it’s regressing week in and week out. Let Peterman take the reigns the rest of the season and maybe something will click.
This is going to be a long game. Go Bills.
